FATES WARNING To Be Joined By SPOCK'S BEARD Drummer On Upcoming Tour
January 12, 2005According to a posting at SpocksBeard.com, there is "a good chance" that SPOCK'S BEARD drummer Nick D'Virgilio will be joining legendary progressive metal act FATES WARNING on their European tour in February. "FATES is a great rock band that I had the good fortune to tour with a couple of years ago," Nick writes on the site. "They have a new CD out and Europe is calling."
As previously reported, FATES WARNING are scheduled to film a video for the song "Simple Human" on January 23. Directing the clip will be Jerry Clubb of MentalSuplex Productions, who has previously worked with SIX FEET UNDER on their "Dead and Buried" video.
"Simple Human" (mp3) comes off the group's upcoming CD, "FWX", available now on Metal Blade Records. The follow-up to 2000's "Disconnected" was recorded at Carriage House studios in Stamford, Connecticut and features cover artwork by renowned record-cover artist Ioannis (DREAM THEATER, SEPULTURA, DEEP PURPLE, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, KING CRIMSON, BIOHAZARD, VOIVOD, UFO, OVERKILL).
